Court proceedings against the third wife at the request of Omar Sharif
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has extended the interim order on the application of Omar Sharif against the transfer of property to a third wife.
According to source, a single bench comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar in the Sindh High Court heard a petition filed by renowned legendary actor Omar Sharif against the transfer of property to a third wife.
However, due to the absence of the lawyers of the parties, the court adjourned the hearing indefinitely and issued orders to extend the interim order.
It may be recalled that actor Omar Sharif has challenged the gift deed of his third wife in the Sindh High Court. The court had stopped his third wife Zareen Ghazal from selling the apartment.
Petitioner Omar Sharif had taken the position that he bought an apartment in Askari Four in 2016 with a loan from a bank. I am seriously ill and have amnesia. Yes, Zareen Ghazal wants to sell an apartment worth Rs 11 crore, so the court should declare the gift deed null and void.
