A few months ago, a girl openly proposed to a boy at a university in Lahore and the video went viral after watching it, on which the two were expelled by the university.
Then, a few days later, the news spread on social media that the two were married and they were allowed to study at the university again.
How much truth is there in all this? In a recent interview, Hadiqa Javed, the girl who proposed to the boy, told the whole truth.
Hadiqa says that my only mistake was that I expressed my love so openly, now I regret why I proposed to Shehryar at that time.
He said that we were good friends at that time and I expressed what was in my heart in front of everyone and I still stand by my word. One of our classmates' birthday was celebrated that day and my plan was to propose to Shehryar but he didn't know it at all, it was a surprise, when I was on my knees it was close I was just our classmates, but when I woke up it was so crowded, I didn't realize it at the time but our videos went viral in our university group that evening.
Hadiqa said that we thought that they would wear masks but they would not take them off, but in the heat of the day neither I nor Shehryar wore them. So I went out of town to meet my family, at that time I got calls from my close cousins, people from the neighborhood also came to talk, that time was how I would take care of myself and also tell my parents, we did not go We were then evacuated and re-admitted.
The girl said that for a while after that, Shehryar and I talked and the pictures and news that went viral that we were both married were all lies. When our parents met, Shehryar's family said something. Say things that are beyond my imagination, according to them, Shehryar is still young, he is not old enough to get married and then he said that we had got engaged to Shehryar in his childhood, Shehryar also did not give such an answer. Of course, my father explained to me that you can't be happy in this house, his thinking is very different from ours, yet if you want to get married, we don't mind.
Hadiqa repeatedly said that there is no problem on the part of my family, but the family of Shehryar has a lot of problems.
