Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah while addressing a press conference said that there would be no complete lockdown in the province, only certain areas would be closed.


Speaking at a press conference, Murad Ali Shah said, "We have decided to keep some things open. If everyone helps us for 9 days, then we will move towards reopening the province. People say whether this epidemic will end after 9 days. No, it The epidemic will not end, but our hospitals will not be square, the task force made difficult but useful decisions.

He said that the lockdown would take place from tomorrow till August 8 and from August 9, various departments would be opened.


He said the health sector would remain open, grocery, bakery and vegetable and meat shops would remain open till 6 pm but all retail businesses would remain closed.


The Chief Minister Sindh said that only delivery would be allowed from the restaurant, banks, export sectors, ports, petrol pumps and stock exchanges would remain open.


He said that only delivery will be allowed in the hotel, there will be no take away.


The Chief Minister decided to postpone all the examinations from tomorrow for one week and said that the examinations have also been asked to proceed, next week there will be no examinations.


Murad Ali Shah further said that NCOC chief Asad Umar and Special Assistant for Health Dr Faisal Sultan have been informed of the decisions, they have assured cooperation.


"We need to stop the spread of the virus, we need to increase the hospital facilities that we are doing, in this lockdown we will make sure that no one is vaccinated," he said.


It may be recalled that the Sindh government has announced a lockdown from tomorrow due to the increase in Corona cases.
